His professional background encompasses the management of research projects, educational institutions and election campaigns. PhD in History (2010).

He has lectured on Political Science, the History of International Relations, Foreign Political Systems, Foundations of Geopolitics and the History of Diplomacy at Izmail State University of Humanities.

The author of blogs and publicistic materials on geopolitics, international relations, electoral law and electoral psychology, published in leading Ukrainian medias, including Ukrainska Pravda, UNN, Kommentari, Focus and others.

Additionally, he shares his expertise on international politics and Ukraine’s domestic political situation on prominent national news channels (Apostrophe, 5 Kanal, Suspilne, We – Ukraine, Novyny.Live, Espreso TV, Freedom) and on international TV channels in Japan, Latvia, Poland, Germany etc.

Oleh Posternak also works in political consulting. He served as a member of the Izmail District Council from 2006 to 2010 and led the NGO Regional Policy Center Meridian. In 2014, he assembled a group of analysts and experts to establish the Center for Political Intelligence (Kyiv), which he currently leads.

He has been involved in implementing election campaign strategies, including for candidates running for the Verkhovna Rada in single-member districts, candidates for mayor positions, and candidates for local councils (regional, district, and municipal). His areas of expertise include legal support, field projects, media communications and electoral research for local elections.
